Adult Sunday School

We encourage guests to visit different classes until they find a class in which they are comfortable, a study that interests them or an activity in which the class participates.
Our studies vary based upon the needs and desires of our class. In the past they have included the use of video series, topical studies by leading Christian authors and books of the Bible. We have been blessed with a variety of individual gifts and talents. Our gifts of love include contributions of time and money to the Church needs and activities, like the painting of the halls in the Christian Education wing, maintaining the flower beds around the church as well as providing assistance to individuals in need.
We fellowship at class parties sponsored by different members, with a variety of activities. The Friendship Class average ages are 30 to 55+, but welcome all who have a desire to grow in their faith.
Our class is very eclectic as far as membership; people of various ages, married couples, married but only one spouse attending, divorcees, single and widowed attend. We open with community prayers. All studies are from the Bible, with supporting lesson books. Class participation is lively and informative, and everyone is encouraged to join in the discussions.
The class hosts a spaghetti dinner in February and October, with profits going to various ministries. Class parties are held 8-9 times a year. We have coffee, tea and donuts every Sunday, so please come and join us. If you yearn to know more about God and His Word, and are looking for a welcoming group – we are waiting for you.

Our Sunday mornings are very important to the members of the class. Our lessons and discussions are open and we welcome everyone’s input. We are mostly retired persons, but are young at heart. We are always trying to increase our attendance and welcome visitors and new members.
Our studies are from the David C. Cook quarterly curriculum, our lessons and discussions use the Bible to relate to our lives today. We meet the first Friday of every month for lunch and fellowship.
