Disciples Youth Group

 

The Disciples Youth Group is made up of 4 different Disciples of Christ Churches in our area and currently includes New Horizons Christian Church, High St. Christian Church, First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls and Bailey Rd. Christian Church. The location of the youth group rotates between New Horizons, High St. and FCC Falls. Youth group meets the first 3 Sundays of each month at 12:30 p.m. Lunch is provided by the church that is hosting the youth group. The youth advisors for New Horizons are Matt and Rachel Bendel and they provide transportation from our church to the other churches. 

 

Some of the youth activities we do throughout the year include: making candy to raise money for Camp Christian, Christmas caroling to the elderly, raking leaves for the elderly and our churches, sled riding, ice skating, youth Sunday, and youth banquet. 

 

New Horizons youth also holds our own Chili Cook Off every October to raise money for kids to go to Camp Christian. Camp Christian is a week long summer camp in Magnetic Springs, Ohio. Camp is an awesome spiritual and fun filled week!
